Almost feels like Halo with all the tanks and jeeps, but the helicopters are a nice touch. Straight forward rock paper scissors game type with 5 classes which each has somethign special about them. This game is totally diffrent than BF2 (PC). I own both, and they're both great, in my opinion atleast.

The single player campaign is quite chalenging, and with an actual story line and the unique hotswap feature it is a blast to play. Multiplayer is diffrent than single player, think Splinter Cells Chaos Theory.

The controls are slightly diffrent as is gameplay. Its fast paced and quite enjoyable. Helo are suprisingly easy to operate in this. The only degrading thing is lack of airplanes.:/. Good Game.I like this game, theres alot of challenging parts to it, and some of these (to me) are a disadvantage. When learing to play, the objectives seemed kind of vague. So I got to the right place, now what?

Also, when aiming, I might accidentally hit the switch players button. Although a really awesome animation for doing so, it really gets in the way when you are trying to terminate a mission target.The grapics were exceptional, not perfect, but amazing considering it's only an XBox. But the enemy has a red icon over their head. Now unless they are behind a building, you can see that icon, even if they are hiding.

What good is a sniper that crawled for 10 minutes to a great location if they are seen as soon as someone even glances in their general direction. You should have to see enemies by simply seeing them, not because of an icon. It would definitely make it harder, and also more realistic.

(On a side note, when you kill someone, the person you killed gets a quick view of the direction the shot came from. Bad news if you're a sniper, because sure as anything they'll be headed right back for you as soon as they respawn. This needs to be taken out of the game too).My second complaint is that you cannot buddy-up with your friends online as easily as in Halo 2.

Once you are in a game together however, you can keep going to the next game with your party-mates as long as you'd like (provided you are of the same or close to same rank as your friend in a ranked game).You can't create your own game on a map of your choice and limit the number of players either. While this would be a nice feature, it would subject Battlefield 2 to the same cheating and modding that now plagues Halo 2, and so I like it just the way it is (EA hosts all games).If Battlefield 2 has a shortcoming, it's the single player campaign for me.

While the Hot-Swapping feature is cool, I just don't like the very linear gameplay. In a given mission you usually can only do things one way, and you must do it in a short amount of time. You don't have freedom to move through at your own pace, or 'explore' the map like you could do to some extent with titles such as Medal of Honor.All in all, this is a must-have game for multiplayer action, especially if you like war games.

I can't wait to see what they look like in 10 years. Great Game, Great Price!I bought this game upon the suggestion of some of the people I was currently playing Project Gotham Racing 2 with; they were constantly telling me how much fun it is. I finally broke down and got it, and started playing the game campaign. It was a bit dificult at first, as I am not used to playing 1st person shooters on XBox, but once I figured things out a bit, it was pretty easy.Then I started playing the online version, and kinda gave up on the campaign. Online is a lot of fun, since you are playing against other actual people, not AIs.

The only downside to this, like a few other games, is that there are people that cheat. Using the glitches and stuff like that, and team killing so they don't rank up, that and the fact that EA's servers suck, constantly lagging out of games gets a li ttle old after a while. They should just turn all their servers over to Microsoft, yeah they are laggy, but not as bad as EA's.Overall, I have had a great experience playing this game, only ruined by the few people that don't know how to play successfully without cheating. I do reccommend it to anyone looking for a challenging, yet entertaining millitary 1st person shooter game.
