Battlefield 2 Modern Combat

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is nothing more than a slightly-tweaked version of the (admittedly cool) military shooter we were all playing on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 last year. So if you already. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat explodes onto Xbox 360, bringing the field of battle to life like never before. Some multi-player functionalities may.

Product Information. Large-scale multiplayer warfare comes to consoles as Digital Illusions' Battlefield series brings Modern Combat to Xbox. The series is known for its fast-paced competitive warfare, and as many as 100 Xbox Live-connected players can fight together online, across battle maps that scale to the number of human participants. Battlefield 2 also features a single-player mode, which fills the levels with artificially intelligent 'bots, both enemy and friendly. As in the PC sequel on which the console versions are based, the game's fictional war is set in the modern era, so players have access to cutting-edge military equipment, including more than 70 types of weapons and 30 different vehicles to move them across land, air, and sea. Players can choose to fight for the United States, the Chinese, or the 'Middle East Coalition,' and through repeated victories and outstanding achievement in the field, they'll work their way up the ranks, all the way from Private to General.

BF2 BF2MC, yet the fun is =Though not even close to Battlefield 2 (PC), Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a great console game. Almost feels like Halo with all the tanks and jeeps, but the helicopters are a nice touch. Straight forward rock paper scissors game type with 5 classes which each has somethign special about them. Snipers can GPS and allocate enemies for the WHOLE team and use laser guided rockets(motar?) to destroy armour, Support can call in motar strikes and heal, and much more. There is no 'commander mode' as in the PC game but there are 'Satalite Uplink' site which make bring down hell via artillary very much so possible.

This game is totally diffrent than BF2 (PC). I own both, and they're both great, in my opinion atleast.

The single player campaign is quite chalenging, and with an actual story line and the unique hotswap feature it is a blast to play. Multiplayer is diffrent than single player, think Splinter Cells Chaos Theory.

The controls are slightly diffrent as is gameplay. Its fast paced and quite enjoyable. Helo are suprisingly easy to operate in this. The only degrading thing is lack of airplanes.:/. Good Game.I like this game, theres alot of challenging parts to it, and some of these (to me) are a disadvantage. When learing to play, the objectives seemed kind of vague. So I got to the right place, now what?

Also, when aiming, I might accidentally hit the switch players button. Although a really awesome animation for doing so, it really gets in the way when you are trying to terminate a mission target. The grapics were exceptional, not perfect, but amazing considering it's only an XBox. Sound effects pretty good, but I have yet to try it with my Surround Sound downstairs, I have a feeling it'll be awesome.Overall I give this game a 4/5, the onyl reason I'm lowering it was because of button placement (which when I go play Halo, I get all messed up because I'm used to this game, and vice versa), and the switch players. It never really became a useful feature for me, although I did have a few sticky situations where I would not have gotten by without it. Best warfare game of its type - poor single playerThis is the best game I've played to date on XBox Live, and I LOVED Halo 2 until the players ruined it with rampant modding and cheating. With up to 24 players in the game at a time, the action in Battlefield 2 is non-stop.Very different from Halo, Battlefield 2 is much more realistic. In the multiplayer mode, you select first to either be a Friendly (U.S.) troop or an Enemy (China, Russia, etc) troop.

Wings of fury horses.

You then select from 5 different troop types, or 'Kits'. There is an Assault troop, a Special Ops troop, a Sniper, an Engineer, or a Support troop. They all have different abilites, use different weapons, and really must be used for what they are intended or you won't make it very long. Beholder 2 mod apk 1. You can't rush a building with a sniper (no-scopes are hard to come by) and you won't pick an enem y troop from 100 yards with your heavy machine gun. Each side has it's own unique vehicles as well, and you can drive/fly them all. From Humvees to sand-rail buggies, boats to Abrams tanks and missle-laden helicopters, they are yours for the taking (even snowmobiles). A good helicopter pilot is an ultra-valuable weapon, and you have to know what you're doing because there are lots of guys on the ground just waiting to knock your bird out of the sky.My biggest complaints with the multiplayer game are two things:First, as stated by another reviewer, your guys have blue icons over their heads, which is fine and good.

But the enemy has a red icon over their head. Now unless they are behind a building, you can see that icon, even if they are hiding.

What good is a sniper that crawled for 10 minutes to a great location if they are seen as soon as someone even glances in their general direction. You should have to see enemies by simply seeing them, not because of an icon. It would definitely make it harder, and also more realistic.

(On a side note, when you kill someone, the person you killed gets a quick view of the direction the shot came from. Bad news if you're a sniper, because sure as anything they'll be headed right back for you as soon as they respawn. This needs to be taken out of the game too).My second complaint is that you cannot buddy-up with your friends online as easily as in Halo 2.

Once you are in a game together however, you can keep going to the next game with your party-mates as long as you'd like (provided you are of the same or close to same rank as your friend in a ranked game). You can't create your own game on a map of your choice and limit the number of players either. While this would be a nice feature, it would subject Battlefield 2 to the same cheating and modding that now plagues Halo 2, and so I like it just the way it is (EA hosts all games). If Battlefield 2 has a shortcoming, it's the single player campaign for me.

While the Hot-Swapping feature is cool, I just don't like the very linear gameplay. In a given mission you usually can only do things one way, and you must do it in a short amount of time. You don't have freedom to move through at your own pace, or 'explore' the map like you could do to some extent with titles such as Medal of Honor. All in all, this is a must-have game for multiplayer action, especially if you like war games.

I can't wait to see what they look like in 10 years. Great Game, Great Price!I bought this game upon the suggestion of some of the people I was currently playing Project Gotham Racing 2 with; they were constantly telling me how much fun it is. I finally broke down and got it, and started playing the game campaign. It was a bit dificult at first, as I am not used to playing 1st person shooters on XBox, but once I figured things out a bit, it was pretty easy. Then I started playing the online version, and kinda gave up on the campaign. Online is a lot of fun, since you are playing against other actual people, not AIs.

The only downside to this, like a few other games, is that there are people that cheat. Using the glitches and stuff like that, and team killing so they don't rank up, that and the fact that EA's servers suck, constantly lagging out of games gets a li ttle old after a while. They should just turn all their servers over to Microsoft, yeah they are laggy, but not as bad as EA's.Overall, I have had a great experience playing this game, only ruined by the few people that don't know how to play successfully without cheating. I do reccommend it to anyone looking for a challenging, yet entertaining millitary 1st person shooter game.
